This Fulldome production was shown among other student projects in 2019 at the Planetarium Hamburg in the context of their annual “Equinox” event in collaboration with the HAW Hamburg.
The structures were generated via a flocking algorithm which only shows the connections between the individual boids. These were then recorded, arranged and rendered for playback in the dome. The sound design was produced to match the image arrangement and then rendered as a 64 channel ambisonics file for 3D audio in the planetarium.
